Our submissions fall into two categories: "From Our Readers," news and activity in the Peace Corps Community and commentary on our magazine, and articles.

ARTICLES
If you would like to submit an article to WorldView in our quarterly print or online editions, please study previous issues online at www.worldviewmagazine.com for style and usage. We generally follow Associated Press style and punctuation.
We publish articles based on a writer’s recent experience with a variety of human development issues in communities and countries where Peace Corps volunteers have served. Articles should reflect authority on an issue or recent first-hand experience that demonstrates a grassroots familiarity with a community.
We encourage proposals for news, opinions and features in our quarterly print edition of WorldView.
We welcome proposals or completed articles submitted on speculation. To submit your proposal or completed text, please indicate the department in the subject line.
First-hand narratives of fewer than 1,000 words that frame specific events involving a contemporary Peace Corps or other international service experience. If accepted, these unpaid contributions are published online upon acceptance. Send to news@peacecorpsconnect.org.
A first-hand narrative about people or events in a community where Peace Corps has served. Profiles of individuals and events that describe and explain how a community works. Use dialogue, vignettes, brief but detailed descriptions of persons, locations and events in a carefully structured article with a clearly identified point of view. Factual accuracy and clarity of expression are required. Provide sources and contacts for staff fact-checking when necessary. Send to news@peacecorpsconnect.org.
A set of photographic images from a specific country or community. Send prints or high resolution digital images at 300 dots per inch to news@peacecorpsconnect.org. Photos should be submitted with a photo credit and sufficient information to craft a photo caption.
Personal views regarding human development issues, U.S. foreign policy or other Peace Corps-related concerns. Send to news@peacecorpsconnect.org.
First-hand travel in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Asia and the Pacific that describes an intimate social and cultural engagement with people, communities and landscapes of remote places in the world. Focus on extreme adventure, exotic travel, sports, food and other topics are welcome, but understanding and empathy for the community is essential. Include web addresses of any recommended services. Send to news@peacecorpsconnect.org.
OUR EDITORIAL PROCEDURE
If a contribution is accepted for the print edition, the magazine may offer a modest fee for one-time rights. Selected printed articles may appear on www.worldviewmagazine.com after quarterly publication, with no additional payment to the writer. We copyright all material in each printed issue, however copyright remains with the writer, artist or photographer. Photography and art should be submitted electronically, if possible. All digital images must be 300 dots per inch and should be submitted with a photo credit and sufficient information to craft a photo caption.
At the end of your submission, please include a brief explanation of your familiarity with the subject and, if you served as staff of volunteer in the Peace Corps, please identify your years and location of service and the work you performed. The editors also encourage contributions from others who have lived and worked in communities of the less-developed world; please submit a brief description of that service.
