The "Third Goal" of the Peace Corps is to bring a global perspective back to the United States. The National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) launched Global TeachNet (GTN) to directly implement that global perspective in U.S. classrooms through:
The World Wise Schools Program allows educators in the United States to link with Peace Corps Volunteers to help enrich the experience of their students. Opportunities are available for educators as well as returned volunteers who would like to participate in lectures and presentations in their communities.

Academic scholarships allow NPCA members to pursue master's degrees in international programs at the SIT Graduate Institute's Brattleboro, Vermont campus. Members of the NPCA who have one year or more of significant intercultural experience are eligible to apply. Several awards of $10,000 are made each year.

Fellows/USA assists volunteers by making graduate school more affordable. Peace Corps has set up dozens of programs with schools offering opportunities in business, public policy, nursing, and more. Fellows/USA programs also help promote a better understanding of the rest of the world through lectures and events that help the volunteer share his or her experience in the Peace Corps.

The Master's International program gives volunteers the ability to enroll and receive credit for graduate work while serving in the Peace Corps. Master's International students are accepted at member schools and complete their coursework during their service in Peace Corps.
