Democracy on the Streets of Dakar

NPCA is a community-supported 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. We are not supported by government funding and do not require membership dues, so your financial support is critical to helping us provide RPCVs with the support network we deserve. If you desire to reach out directly to the Peace Corps agency, visit their website here.

Honoring the Toughest Job You Ever Loved

Famed historian Doris Kearns Goodwin wrote, “It (Peace Corps) has been an enduring American legacy of service in the cause of peace, a timeless symbol of America’s most honorable ideals and aspirations.” In her most recent book, Unfinished Love Affair, steeped in Peace Corps lore, it says, “. . . sometimes symbolic gestures are the language of political action.” Is your love affair with the Peace Corps unfinished?

You can pave the way to inspire and educate future generations about the Peace Corps by donating your personalized brick to the Peace Corps Plaza in Minnesota. An etched brick with your name, city, state, host country, and years of service will honor your legacy and create a lasting gesture of political action in support of the Peace Corps. Visit Peace Corps Plaza for more information.
